London seems to be going patriotic mad this year.
It's all warranted as it's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and we're hosting The 2012 Olympics.
Fair point. Well made. I think so.
T-Mobile have summed up what Britain loves in their latest advert and I quite simply love it. Love everything about it. It's beautifully written and executed and I don't even mind Harry Hill's voice over.
Check it out here:
There's the usual social media matching luggage that goes with it on Facebook and Twitter.
Enjoy.
I like...
I am an art director in London and I come across some great stuff every day. Such as new technology, virals, websites, photography, games, articles... (you can see it's a never ending list, so I'll stop.) All the things I liked went into a folder on my desktop called "What I like." I have finally decided to make a blog of it, so here it is:

I like ambient fun
I came across Mark Jenkins's website, I have no idea who he is but I like him and think you will too.
Take a look at some of his work. Some is a bit dark but I've left that for you to find on his website which is here.
In the mean time look at my selection...
I can see three people here, you?

I like windows
Most people look out their window but now look what you can do on your window.
The first is from Samsung:
The second from General Motors:
They are both very similar but just used for different purposes. There's not much else to say really. I guess some things just speak for themselves and don't need dressing up.

I like Harrods
It's been a while since I went to Harrods for a look around. I'm used to going to Selfridges from being based off Oxford Street for just over three years, I had forgotten about it sadly.
I was near it on Sunday and decided to pop in and I am glad I did. I've been there a hundred times before but after I grew out of the kids section, the Pet Kingdom was the top of my list. Whilst getting lost, as you do in department stores, I can across Picasso, Andy Warhol and some other artists in Harrod's very own art gallery. It's called the Halcyon Gallery and Mauro Perucchetti is currently one of the main exhibitors there at the moment.
Here's some pictures I managed to take:
Pet Kingdom
Pup-Corn
For those of you who have Bed Head hair products, you'll recognise this packaging for your pets
This was inside the gallery. This amazing pice moved on the stand once a member of staff gave it a little nudge. I thought it was going to fall off but it never did.
Sparkly man
Sparkly piglets
I've saved the best till last. sparkly shoes. Only £35,000 for one. Yes one! And no, it's not buy one get one free.

I like paper
Thanks to Amy, find her on twitter (@aimesward) for bringing this to my attention. A lovely post for a Friday afternoon. Even though it's Friday 13th, here is some lovely paper art for you to look at by Yulia Brodskaya.

I like washing up
I know it sounds strange but I do. As long as there are Marigolds to do so I'm happy to do it. It's therapeutic.
If your not a fan then let these tea towels help you decide. I got them from a company called Wash or Dry and they've made a rather mondane everyday chore become a pleasure and a bit of fun. Each towel has a game to help you decide with your flatmates, girlfriend, boyfriend ... who does what tonight.
Each towel has some lovely fine details and craftsmanship. It makes it that extra bit special.
Find them on Facebook.

I like shopping
Who doesn't like shopping? (Is it even legal to ask this question?)
It's in our DNA isn't it? Well it is for me. Enough of the rhetorical questions. I have stumbled across a shop and I want to hire a car and drive to it right now.
I'm at a moral crisis point where I know I should buy organic food and buy locally sourced goods but it can be pricey for someone of 25. I'm speaking for my tummy here. But I can not feel guilty about that and buy locally sourced pieces of art and all things beautiful for others (not likely) from this shop. It's called From.
Here is their Facebook page.
Here is their twitter account.
Here's a 360 degrees view of From.
The cherry on top for me is they give money back into local education to find new talent to go back into the shop.
Perfect.
